Closeboard fencing is a traditional but popular choice when looking for a strong and versatile fence to protect and define your garden for years to come. It is one of the most cost-effective types of fencing comprising typically of solid timber posts, arris rails, gravelboards and featheredge boards. It’s probably the best option for sloping gardens as it be able to follow the line of the ground much better than the pre-built fence panels.
We keep all the materials you would need to make up a closeboarded fence. If you require morticed timber posts then please give us at least 1 to 2 working days notice to sort them for you.
Feather Edge
We stock a large amount of feather edge at our premises, ranging from 3ft to 16ft high.
Available in Brown and Green.
Timber Gravelboards
We stock 3 different sizes of timber gravelboards, they come in lengths of 6ft, 10ft and 12ft.

Arris Rails
We stock 10ft arris rails, either ended or un-ended, as well as 12ft un-ended.

Stumps
Stumps are used to support the bottom arris rail of your fence whilst being attached to the gravelboard.

Counter Rail
Counter Rail is for support the capping on your fence. We stock it in 10ft lengths.

Capping
Capping is a decorative way to finish off your fence. We stock 6ft and 10ft lengths.

Cleats
Cleats are used to attach Gravelboards to fence posts.
We stock timber and metal cleats (the latter being used for concrete posts).
Post Mix
A quick, easy and ready to use out of the bag pre-blended Rapid Set Fence Post Concrete suitable for all types of fence & gate posts.
Both Timber and Concrete Posts / Gravelboards are available.
All timber is pressure treated softwood, timber posts being UC4 treated for ground contact.
All fixings and tools you may need are stocked in our shop.
